Magalies Challenge: Up the Ante!

Route Description:

• Diverse Challenges: The event caters to all levels - a 7 km route for beginners, a 14 km for intermediates, and a challenging 21 km (650m Climbing) for the experienced and the legendary 35km (1300M Climbing) suited for true Magalies runners. 
• Scenic Trails: Experience the stunning northern trails of Van Gaalen and Ver Genoeg trails and the iconic Vulture Ridgeline of the Magaliesberg

Entry Fee Includes:

• Secure parking and seamless registration.
• Coffee is available for purchase.
• Access to marked and exclusive mountain trails.
• Support from sweepers, marshalls, and full medical staff.
• 1-3 water tables with snacks and drinks, depending on your distance.
• Finish line rewards: medal or beer, and prizes.

Water Point Offerings:

• Ice water, coke, sweets, fruit, and potatoes.

Compulsory Gear:

• All runners must be self-sufficient, carrying at least a cell phone.
• Additional for 21 km: 500ml water capacity, space blanket, and a weather-appropriate jacket.

Prizes:

• 35-km: Cash Prizes: 1st - R3000, 2nd - R1500, 3rd - R750
• 6-km, 11-km & 21km: Gear vouchers and event discounts.

General Information:

• GPX routes will released via email on the Friday before the race.
• Tickets are distributed via email, with a PDF required on race day.
• Final race details will be emailed on the Friday morning before the event.
